Diwali Movie Releases 2020




Laxmii is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film written and directed by Raghava Lawrence in his Hindi directorial debut. It is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film Kanchana and stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani.  Only on Disney+ Hotstar from Nov 9th 2020.



Soorarai Pottru is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya and Guneet Monga, under their respective banners 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment.It is dubbed into Telugu, with the title as Aakasam Nee Haddura.  Only on Amazon Prime Video from Nov 12th 2020.

Mookuthi Amman is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language Hindu devotional comedy film directed by RJ Balaji and N. J. Saravanan. The former also wrote the script and stars as the male lead, while Nayanthara stars as the title character.  Only on Disney+ Hotstar from Nov 14th 2020.



Miss India is an Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film, written and directed by Narendra Nath. It stars Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Nadhiya in the lead roles and music composed by S. Thaman. The film has been produced by Mahesh S Koneru under East Coast Productions.  Only on Netflix from Nov 4th 2020.

Actor Dhanush's Karnan teaser update

'Karnan' is a film Directed by Mari Selvaraj. Starring Dhanush, Lal, Rajisha Vijayan, Yogi Babu, Lakshmi Priya and many more. Santosh Narayanan has composed the music for this film which is being produced by Thanu. Mari Selvaraj shot most of the film in a village-like set near Tirunelveli. The shooting of the film ended on December 9. Following this, the film crew announced that the film would be released in theaters on April 9 and released two songs including First Look Poster and Kanda Vara Sollunga, pandarathi Puranam. Karnan's movie has also created a lot of anticipation among the fans as the movie Pariyerum Perumal has been popularly talking about caste inequalities.  Now the teaser of this much awaited flim is releasing on 9th April.
